BARB RICHARDS

Local auctioneer and personality Barb Richards has many achievements behind her, including that she is a two time World Champion Women's Auctioneer and has been the Ontario Champion (Women's Division) as well.

Barb is the Past President of the Auctioneers Association of Ontario and the President of A Touch of Class Auction & Appraisal Service serving all of Simcoe County, Ontario and Internationally as well.  Barb is co-founder of the Canadian Auction College held in Barrie every February and August.

Barb is a charter graduate of the Institute of Canadian Certified Auctioneers, The Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group of Canada and the Certified Appraisers Guild of America.  She is also a member of the Ontario Auctioneers Association (Past President/Board of Directors), the New York State Auctioneers Association (NYSAA) and the National Auctioneers Association (USA). 

Barb has been an auctioneer and appraiser since 1986 and has been involved with many fundraising and charitable events throughout her career. 

KRISTA RICHARDS

Krista Richards is the Senior Vice President and an auctioneer for A Touch of Class Auction & Appraisal Service, since the early 1990's.  Marketing and promotion are Krista's forte and she uses her skills for dramatic and immediate results within A Touch of Class. 

Krista is also an instructor at the Canadian Auction College, sharing her administrative knowledge of auctions and her auction voice with a new generation of auctioneers.

Krista served as President for the Auctioneers Association of Ontario (2009), and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association.  Krista is a graduate of the Certified Appraisers Guild of America and the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group using her skills as a full time appraiser for A Touch of Class, providing professional reports for all types of appraisals.  Krista is also a graduate of the Institute of Canadian Certified Auctioneers.  Krista strongly believes in education, and is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) held at Indiana University, this is the highest designation you can achieve as an auctioneer.

Krista is a winner of the World Championship Women's Auctioneer and the New York State Auctioneers Association Women's Division Championship.

SHAWN GANNAW

Shawn Gannaw is a Vice President and auctioneer of A Touch of Class Auction & Appraisal Service.  Shawn is a graduate and member of the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group and is a graduate from the Canadian Auction College.  As a graduate of the CPPAG Shawn provides professional complete Appraisal Reports for a variety of situations Fair Market Value, Letter of Probate, Insurance/Replacement Value to name a few. 

Shawn is a member of the Auctioneers Association of Canada, the National Auctioneers Association, plus the Auctioneers Association of Ontario, and is a member of the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group.
