A Message From A Touch of Class Auctions:

We would like to thank you for over 25 years of service in the auction and appraisal industry.  We have always strived to make our auctions an event, one where you would enjoy your time spent with us, offering quality and unique items and an understanding and compassionate team to work with.  We have made many changes to our services over the years -- most notably within the last 10 years, with the offering of internet and online bidding -- opening our auctions to the world.  We've created beautiful catalogues of many fine events, art auctions, specialty collector items and the list goes on. 

 We would now like to announce that we will be working closely with Newgate Auctions in Barrie.  As many of you may already know, this is a social enterprise program that is a division of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe County.  E. Fry provides services to all people, including running Barrie's second largest food bank -- the Grocery Assistance Program.  Newgate Auctions is located at Bell Farm Rd & St. Vincent, where they will now be holding antique & collectible auctions in addition to their general household & liquidation auctions. 

As A Touch of Class focuses on other projects the direction of our auctions is changing.  Though we may still hold quality auctions under our own umbrella, we will be working more in co-operation with Newgate Auctions.  You can expect the same great service and business with Newgate as you do with A Touch of Class.  For additional information about Newgate Auctions, please visit their website by clicking here.  Please note that we are still accepting quality items for auction, they may be referred to Newgate or kept for an upcoming auction held by A Touch of Class Auctions.

Recognizing a need to service our seniors and their families, Barb Richards has started a new company called Twilight Transitions & Elder Care, helping seniors with major life changes -- from staying in their home with assisted care (PSW's), to providing concierge and personal chef services, to helping seniors move from one location to another -- if they need help, we can provide it.  You may visit the website by clicking here for more information, including a special division that will focus on the dreams and wishes of Seniors.  Barb remains very active with fundraising events and charity auctions across Canada and the U.S. 

Shawn Gannaw has started a great Real Estate career with Prudential LeClair & Associates Realty in Barrie and is already off to a fabulous start.  He has also been elected the inaugural President of the Innisfil Rotary Club and we congratulate him on this fine achievement.  You may visit Shawn and read his blog by clicking here - Real Estate like no other!

Krista Richards will continue to provide auctioneer services to various fundraising and charity events, plus providing administrative support to both Barb and Shawn.  Krista is also a proud Lady Shriner and will continue to be active in the community. 

We will continue to provide e-notices of auctions that are held in partnership with Newgate Auctions.  Please note that all information you receive from A Touch of Class will still come from Krista Richards and that mailings will be kept to the same format and information sharing.  We will be sending out an email within the next few weeks to confirm your email address (this will come from Express Email Marketing and you will need to click on the email to confirm your desire to continue receiving our emails).
